Exodus 23:25, NLT: “You must serve only the LORD your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.
If God will not beg you to serve Him, you will not beg God to bless you. God said He will bless you, all you need to do is to serve Him. Serving God requires that you serve Him with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
Your heart must love God for you to serve Him diligently, your soul must conform to your decision to serve the Lord no matter what and your mind must be renewed daily from the toxins from the devil asking you to devote to something else other than God.
You cannot serve two masters at the same time, you will have to hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. It pays to serve the Lord; your duty is to serve and God's duty is to bless. Today, check what has been taking the place of God in your life and get rid of it before it gets rid of you.
